Shearing machine is a machine that shears plates by using one blade to make a reciprocating linear motion relative to another blade. It uses a moving upper blade and a fixed lower blade, and adopts a reasonable blade gap to apply shear force to metal plates of various thicknesses, so that the plates are broken and separated according to the required size. Shearing machine is a kind of forging machine, and its main function is metal processing industry. The products are widely used in aviation, light industry, metallurgy, chemical industry, construction, shipbuilding, automobile, electricity, electrical appliances, decoration and other industries to provide the required special machinery and complete equipment.
Main classification: Special shearing machines are mostly used in conjunction with other equipment to complete special purposes:
1. Shearing machines for cold-bending forming lines: For example, special shearing machines configured on production lines such as automobile longitudinal beam cold-bending lines, car side baffle production lines, and color steel plate forming lines;
2. Shearing machines for steel structure production lines: mostly used for automatic production lines of angle steel and H-shaped steel to complete the shearing process;

The shearing force of the oblique blade shearing machine is smaller than that of the flat blade shearing machine, so the motor power and the weight of the whole machine are greatly reduced. It is used the most in practice, and shearing machine manufacturers mostly produce this type of shearing machine.
Flat-blade shearing machine has good shearing quality and small distortion, but it has large shearing force and high energy consumption. There are many mechanical transmissions. The upper and lower blades of this shearing machine are parallel to each other, and it is often used for hot shearing of initial rolled square billets and slabs in steel rolling mills; according to its shearing method, it can be divided into upper cutting type and lower cutting type.

Working principle :
After shearing, the shearing machine should be able to ensure the straightness and parallelism requirements of the sheared surface of the sheared sheet, and minimize the distortion of the sheet to obtain high-quality workpieces. The upper blade of the shearing machine is fixed on the knife holder, and the lower blade is fixed on the workbench. A support ball is installed on the workbench to prevent the sheet from being scratched when sliding on it. The back stop is used to position the sheet, and the position is adjusted by the motor. The pressing cylinder is used to press the sheet to prevent the sheet from moving during shearing. The guardrail is a safety device to prevent industrial accidents. The return stroke is generally nitrogen, with fast speed and small impact.
Operating procedures :
First: Carefully implement the relevant provisions of the “General Operating Procedures for Forging Equipment”.
Second: Carefully implement the following supplementary regulations:
1. Carefully do the following before work:
1) Before the idling test run, you should first manually turn the machine for a working stroke, and only start the equipment after confirming that it is normal.
2) For equipment with hydraulic devices, check that the oil tank has sufficient oil. After starting the oil pump, check whether there is leakage in the valve and pipeline, and the pressure should meet the requirements. Open the vent valve to release the air in the system.
2. Carefully do the following during work:
1) Do not cut overlapping sheets, do not trim the edges of rough sheets, and do not cut narrow sheets and short materials that cannot be pressed tightly.
2) The gap between the blades should be adjusted according to the thickness of the sheet, but it should not be greater than 1/30 of the sheet. The blade should be firmly fastened, and the upper and lower blade surfaces should be kept parallel. After adjustment, manual turning should be used for inspection to avoid accidents.
3) The blade edge should be kept sharp. If the blade edge becomes blunt or cracked, it should be replaced in time.
4) When shearing, the pressing device should firmly press the sheet material, and it is not allowed to shear when it is not pressed tightly.
5) For equipment with hydraulic devices, other hydraulic valves except the throttle valve are not allowed to be adjusted privately.
6) The thickness of the sheet material sheared by the hydraulic swing shearing machine should be determined according to the “Sheet Material Ultimate Strength and Plate Thickness Relationship Curve”.
3. The upper knife plate should be dropped to the lowest position after work.
Before operation, wear tight protective clothing, fasten the cuffs, and the hem of the top cannot be opened. Do not wear, take off or change clothes next to the running machine tool, or wrap the cloth around the body to prevent the machine from being wounded. Safety helmets must be worn, braids should be put into the hat, and skirts and slippers are not allowed.
The shearing machine operator must be familiar with the main structure, performance and use of the shearing machine.
The shearing machine is suitable for shearing various steel plates, copper plates, aluminum plates and non-metallic material plates with a material thickness of the machine tool rating, and must be materials without hard marks, welding slag, slag inclusions, and welds. Excessive thickness is not allowed.
How to use the shearing machine: adjust the gap of the blade according to the thickness of the material to be sheared; adjust the template or fixture according to the width of the material to be sheared; make 1-3 empty strokes before operating the shearing machine, and then shearing can be carried out after it is normal.
If the machine is found to be running abnormally during use, the power should be cut off immediately and the machine should be stopped for inspection.
When adjusting the machine tool, the power must be cut off, and when moving the workpiece, pay attention to the safety of your hands.
All parts of the shearing machine should be kept lubricated at all times. The operator should add lubricating oil once per shift, and the mechanic should add lubricating oil to the rolling bearing once every six months.
Notes on use :
1. Start the shearing machine and run it idle for several cycles to ensure that it is under normal conditions and test shearing different thicknesses of plates, from thin to thick. Ensure that the user is familiar with the performance of the shearing machine.
2. When testing different plate thicknesses, different blade gaps must be adjusted. If the corresponding blade gaps are not adjusted, the durability of the blade will be affected.
3. During the shearing process, turn on the pressure gauge switch of the shearing machine and observe the oil circuit pressure value. The pressure should be less than 20MPa when shearing a 12mm plate. This remote pressure regulating valve No. 9 is factory-set to 20-22MPa. Users must abide by this regulation and must not increase the pressure to shear materials that exceed the specified surface, causing damage to the machine.
4. The sound is balanced during operation. If the shearing machine makes noise, it should be stopped for inspection.
5. When the shearing machine is operating, the oil tank temperature should be less than 60 degrees. If it exceeds, shut down and rest.
Maintenance :
1. Operate in strict accordance with the operating procedures;
2. Add lubricating oil at regular times, fixed points and quantitatively according to the lubrication chart before starting each time. The oil should be clean and free of sediment;
3. The machine tool must always be kept clean, and the unpainted parts should be rust-proof grease;
4. The lubricating oil in the motor bearing should be replaced and filled regularly, and the electrical parts should be checked regularly to see if they are working normally, safely and reliably;
5. Regularly check whether the V-belt, handle, knob and button are damaged. If they are seriously worn, they should be replaced in time, and spare parts should be reported for replenishment;
6. Regularly check and repair switches, fuses and handles to ensure their reliable operation;
7. 10 minutes before leaving get off work every day, add oil, lubricate and clean the machine tool;
8. It is strictly forbidden for non-designated personnel to operate the equipment, and the machine must be stopped when no one is around.
